An impressive Passing-out-Parade was held at Excise and Taxation Training Institute (E&TTI), Nagrota here today. Excise Commissioner, J&K, T. Angchuk, took the salute and addressed the passing out guards and other officers.Principal Excise and Taxation, Training Institute, Nagrota   Reenu Kumari, Deputy Excise Commissioners, E.T.O’s and other officers of the Department were also present on the occasion.The Passing-out-Parade was conducted on completion of forty days training in the institute. The group of officers imparted training consisted of Inspectors, sub-inspectors, Excise Guards and Bottler-cum-sealer and newly recruited Excise Guards.

At the end of the function the Excise Commissioner distributed best trainee awards among the best performers.The best trainee award (indoor) was given to Sub-Inspector Richa Rajput and outdoor field was given to Excise Guard Sham Lal. The award for ‘best out of waste’ material was given to a group of trainees comprising Mohammad Parvaiz, Inspector and Guards Rakesh Kumar,   Sham Lal and Sat Paul.The Excise Commissioner in his address appreciated the efforts of Principal Excise and Taxation, Training Institute and her staff in training the officers, officials.  He exhorted upon all the trainees to work with dedication and honesty.  The programme ended with a scintillating cultural programme presented by the trainees.
