Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today visited the District Hospital, Budgam and took stock of the medicare facilities being provided to the patients there.District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Mir Altaf Hussain, SSP Budgam, Fayaz Ahamd Lone and other district officers accompanied the Minister.During the visit, the Minister inspected various wards of the hospital and took stock of the availability of medicines and other facilities. He interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being provided at the hospital. He asked the Chief Medical Officer for providing best possible medicare facilities to the patients, besides ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in and around the hospitals of the District.Chief Medical Officer, Budgam informed the Minister that adequate number of doctors and paramedics are on duty to attend to the patients round-the-clock in the hospital. He said adequate stock of life saving drugs is also available in the hospital.The Minister also reviewed law and order situation in District.
