A group of 3 IAS Probationers of 2015 Batch who have been allotted to the Jammu and Kashmir Cadre, accompanied by Dr. Arun Kumar, VC and DG IMPA&RD, J&K, and Dr. Khurshid-ul-Islam, Course Co-ordinator , IMPA&RD, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.The group of IAS Probationers comprised Mr. Baseer Ul Haq, Ch. Mohd. Yasin  and Mr. Sachin Kumar Vaishy.The Governor urged the Probationers to make the best use of their ongoing training programme in the State and gain a close understanding of the problems faced by the ordinary people, particularly those living in the remote and difficult areas of J&K. He advised the young officers to maintain the highest level of probity and integrity and complete dedication to the honest and efficient discharge of their responsibilities. He also advised them to learn the State and local languages, which would enable them to gain first hand understanding of the challenges faced by the people at large. The Governor wished the officers bright careers ahead.Mr. P.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
