The death toll of youth killed in forces action post Hizb commander Burhan Wani’s killing reached 21 as Kashmir valley continues to simmer with anger on 3rd consecutive day Sunday.Four youths were killed in forces action in latest clashes in several parts of south Kashmir, including Pulwama Kulgam, Qazigund and Pampore.At Lassipora Pulwama, a group of protesting youth torched a Vehicle( TATA 407). The forces opened fire in resulting injuries to atleast 2 persons identified as Gulzar Pandith of Shopian and Muzaffar Hussain of Keegam Shopian.They were rushed to hospital but where they were declared brought dead by the doctors who attended upon them.Another youth, Irfan Malik of Warwan Pulwama was killed when govt forces opened disproportionate fire to quell protesters near Rajpora chowk Pulwama. Besides Irfan a number of Youth suffered injuries and have been hospitilised.At Qazigund, a youth identified as Mashook Ahmad of Qund  was killed when Police and Para Military forces opened fire on protesters.

Meanwhile five other persons including a girl who were injured in govt forces action at different polaces of Kulgam and Anantnag last evening succumbed to injuries. They have been identified as Imtiyaz Mandoo S/o Mohd Shafi of Anantnag, Altaf Rather S/o Mohd Akbar of Rajpora Pulwama and Sajad Thokar S/o Abdul Rashid of Utrusoo Anantnag, Haseeb Ahmad Ganai S/o Abdul Majeed Batpora, Khanbal And Yasmeena D/o Abdul Rehman Residence of DH pora.Massive clashes erupted on Saturday a day after most wanted Hizb commander was killed in a gun fight with Government forces in Kokernag.Pertinently, 12 youth were killed all of them in South Kashmir while more than 150 were injured and over 50 persons are said to have received bullet wounds in clashes across the Kashmir valley.

The Slain 12 youth had been identified as Saqib Manzoor Mir of Khundru, Achabal; Khurshid Ahmed of Harwat, Kulgam; Safeer Ahmed Bhat of sariigam;  Adil Bashir of  Dooru; Abdul Hameed Mouchi of Arwani; Danish Ayoub Shah of Achabal; Jehangir Ahmed Ganie of Hassanpora, Bijbehera; Azad Hussain of Shopian; Aijaz Ahmed Thokur of Siligam, Ashmuqam;  Muhammad Ashraf Dar of Halpora, Kokernag; Showkat Ahmed Mir of Hassanpora, Bijbehra, and Zubair Ahmad of Kaimoh.In a bid to control the situation authorities enforced strict curfew across the Kashmir valley where pro-freedom leaders including Chairman Hurriyat conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq besides JKLF chief Yaseen Malik and DeM Chief Asiya Andrabi has called shutdown till Monday so far.

Despite, strict curfew, reports have clashes have been received from many places in the valley including Anantnag, Kulgam, Kokernag, Qaimoh, Awantipora, Shopian, Tral, Chanapora Bypass, Lalpora and Takipora.At Ashmuqam, a group of protesters attacked the residence of SDPO and latter sat it on fire.At Hassanpora Arwani area of Bijbhera, a group of youth attacked SOG camp and tried to sat it on fire, however, timely action by forces prevent the buildings and latter dispersed the protesters.At saibogh Budgam a police post was torched by the protesters.Reportedly Railway station Bijbhera and a Fisheries at AKAD in Ashmuqam were also sat a blaze by the angry protesters.At lolab in Kupwara agroup of protesters sat on fire a bunker of SOG Camp at Takipora, the cop on the duty opened few aerial shots to disperse the protesters.
