District Development Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar convened a meeting to review the functioning of Education Department.Chief Planning Officer Doda, Y.S Katoch, District Education Planning Officer, Doda Mr. Abdul Latief Butt, Zonal Education Officers of all the zones, Principals and Headmasters besides senior functionaries of education Department attended the meeting.DDC took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the department and stressed on rationalization of the teaching staff in the schools as per the enrollments to ensure proper functioning of the institutions. He also asked the concerned to ensure optimal utilization of the funds and directed DEPO to regularly monitor the progress of developmental works. He also exhorted on taking concerted measures to improve enrollments in the government schools.
He directed all the ZEOs, Principals and Headmasters to submit the sanctioned staff strength, available staff and vacant posts at the earliest.
