Ishfaq Jabbar calls on CM, flags developmental issues of Ganderbal

Member Legislative Assembly, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar called on the Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti here today to apprise her about various issues related to Ganderbal that need immediate attention.The MLA requested the CM to direct the concerned authorities to release Rs 5 crore for land compensation of Pandach-Beehama road. He said the completion of project would greatly reduce traffic jamming that affects the population of the area, and Yatries visiting Amarnath Cave at Baltal and Kheer Bhawani.Requesting for urgent release of Rs 1.35 crore compensation cost for construction of approach road for upcoming Bus Stand at Ganderbal , Mr Jabbar said the construction of the road would facilitate early completion of the Bus Stand.He also requested for early release of Rs 15 crore under NRHM/State Plan to facilitate early completion of District Hospital, Ganderbal, besides, requesting for issuing orders for awarding the New Ganderbal Hydro Electric Power Project at an earliest.Besides, he also requested for including Lal Marg and Mohand Marg in Tourist map to boast tourism in the area.
