Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Choudhary today informed the House that out of 204 habitations in Haveli Constituency 144 habitations are fully covered under tapped water facility and 60 habitations are covered partially, which would be covered fully after completion of ongoing water supply schemes in the area.Replying to a question by Shah Mohammad Tantray, the Minister said that a list of 106 schools falling in Haveli Constituency was received from the School Education Department during 2013-14 for providing water supply connections. He said all these schools have been covered with drinking water facility.The Minister said that in addition to these schools, there may be some schools which are newly constructed or shifted in new buildings, the details of which are being ascertained through joint verification of PHE field staff and representatives of Education Department.In reply to another question by Rajeev Sharma, the Minister said that 110 water supply schemes are in Akhnoor constituency. He said out of these the construction work of these 45 WSS was completed and work on 65 WSS are at different stages.
