Speaker, Mr Kavinder Gupta Tuesday directed the Government to ensure local MLA’s participation during the Ministers tour of his/her constituency.The Speaker directed the Government that the local MLA should be present if Ministers visit his/her constituency.The direction came after members expressed concern for not taking MLAs into confidence in developmental works.Meanwhile responding to the concerns, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Public Works, Abdul Rehman Veeri assured the House that local MLAs would be taken into confidence whenever any developmental project or any inauguration takes place in their respective assembly segment. “Every MLA his/her protocol and this government will take care of it,” he said.
