Jagmeet Singh Brar, Former MP and Convener of the “Pehlan Punjab – Lok Hit Abhiyan” reacted to the appointment of ASHA KUMARI from Himachal Pradesh as Punjab Congress Incharge in his trademark transparent manner;He said,“It is a shame that a party with a 130 yrs trackrecord cannot find ONE honest and clean person to lead Punjab affairs. They have replaced a riot-accused with a convicted land grabber who is out on bail – if this is the strategy that Prashant Kishore is giving Rahul Gandhi &Amarinder Singh then one wonders if he is a planted mole of the BJP to finish Congress in Punjab &UP .. Congress is working overtime to realize Amit Shah’s dream of Congress Mukt Bharat” .He took a jibe at the decision and said “Even before one hires a driver one makes a background check .. Here a state is being handed over without basic application of mind and political logic”.
Commenting on the inner workings of the Congress he said “Capt is an established blackmailer and directionless bulldozer – he has accepted it himself in a recent interview on NDTV – today no senior leader of the Congress in Delhi wants to be associated with him he can’t even manage a Dharna without turbans being tossed, senior leaders like Bajwa, Bhattal, Dullo and Sunil Jakhar don’t want to share a stage with him anymore. ”He also added “Captain is an accused in land fraud cases in Ludhiana and Amritsar and AshaKumari is a convicted Land Grabber from Himachal – BIRDS OF ROYAL FEATHERS FLOCK TOGETHER ..
