Minister of State for Tourism, Ms. Priya Sethi today informed the House that the Tourism potential of Gool-Ramkunda would be surveyed and explored fully to divert the  attention visiting tourists towards the tourism spots of the area.Replying to a question by Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan, the Minister said that to give boost to the tourism activities, steps would be taken to construct hutments in Gool area.The Minister said that construction work upto ground floor of Tourist Reception Centre at Gool has been completed adding that the tenders for construction of second floor have been invited. She said that the construction of VIP hut upto lintel level has been completed adding that buildings would be completed during current financial year subject to availability of funds.50.55 km roads macadamized in Tral constituency during last fiscal: VeeriMinister for R&B, Mr. Abdul Rehman Veeri today informed the House that 50.55 kms road length has been macadamized under various programs in Tral constituency during last fiscal. He said that all efforts are being made to improve the riding surface of the remaining road length in the area. Replying to a question by Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, the Minister said that Tral-Lalpora Origund road is having a length of 10.50 kms and Tral to Lalpora having a length of 7 kms is being executed/maintained by R&B and Lalpora to Origund by PMGSY.

He said that the road from Tral to Lalpora has been restored by way of Water Bound Macadam (WBM). He said for restoration of balance length of the said road, tenders for WBM Grade-II in patches and stretches stand invited.The Minister said the road from Lalpora to Origund having a length of 3.50 kms has been sanctioned under PMGSY programme in two phases which has been completed except a length of 80 Mtrs at spots.The Minister said that Naristan to Wantnad road is also sanctioned under PMGSY programme in two phases. He said under stage 1st, 95 per cent stands completed out of total length of 2.20 kms. He said that in Stage 2nd letter of acceptance has been issued to the concerned contractor. The Minister further said that Batnoor-Basmei road is covered under core network of PMGSY. He said the DPR for construction of this road stands submitted to the Union Ministry of Rural Development for Rs. 1.59 crore under PMGSY Phase X.In another question by Mr. Abdul Majid Padder, the Minister said that 48 schemes have been sanctioned under PMGSY (Phase I to IX) in Noorabad constituency. He said out of which one scheme has been de-sanctioned and 41 schemes stand completed. He said that the construction work of remaining 6 road schemes is in progress in the area.
