Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today informed the House that Krishi Vigyan Kendra stands sanctioned for Samba district.Replying to a question by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manayal, the Minister said that for the purpose 399 kanals and 13 marlas of State land have been identified in villages Munnanu, Arazi, Badheri and Samlah of Samba. He said most of the land identified for the purpose is under illegal occupation of local inhabitants who have applied under Roshni. He said that the case is sub-judice and reply has been submitted by the district administration to Court.The Minister said the matter is being pursued vigorously, so that the land is transferred to SKUAST-Jammu for establishment of KVKs.
