Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Mr. Abdul Haq today informed the House that all the labour component liability of Panchayat Halqas Chittibandi A, B & C stands released under MGNREGA.Replying to a question by Mr Usman Abdul Majid, the Minister said that labour component Rs. 6.65 lakh of Panchayat Halqas Chittibandi A, B & C has been cleared. He said there is only Rs. 2.73 lakh pending liability of material component of these Panchayats, which will be cleared too with the availability of funds.The Minister said that no such instance has come to the notice that the officials of the Department and officials of J&K Bank are involved in embezzlement of labour component of funds released by the Department in the area.
