Congress today cautioned people about the deceitful poll planks of PDP to garner support in order to gain votes in Anantnag Bye Elections. The party also warned that vote to PDP is vote to RSS Ideology and appealed the people to defeat PDP.Addressing a joint meeting of party workers and local representatives of Anantnag Constituency JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir cautioned the people about the deceitful poll planks of PDP in order to secure votes for Mehbooba Mufti in Anantnag Bye Elections.
He told the gathering that PDP is not in a position to face the electorate due to its utter failure on all fronts, the Party has not only betrayed the people, but sacrificed its principles, despite ideological differences PDP BJP formed the Govt by enacting different stories for the sake of coming into power, he said.Reminding the people about the tall claims and promises made by PDP during 2014 Election, PCC Chief said that not even a single promise has been fulfilled, rather the wrong policies & mis-governance on the part of PDP have added miseries to the people.PCC Chief warned that Supporting PDP tantamount to implementing RSS agenda in the State and accused the PDP for taking directives from Nagpur, he said defeating PDP amounts to defeating RSS.
He urged the people to remain vigilant and defeat the designs of RSS hell bent upon to implement its communal agenda not only in the State, but in the whole country, he said only Congress party can defeat the designs of RSS and other communal forces harming the atmosphere of unity and togetherness for gaining political mileage.Blaming PDP BJP Coalition for ignoring the needs of people, PCC Chief said that the promises made by PDP BJP Coalition during their election campaign have not been fulfilled rather the misrule and mishandling of situations by the Coalition Govt have infused sense of insecurity among the people.PCC Chief assured the people that Congress shall remain committed to the cause of serving them and won’t allow PDP BJP Coalition to play with emotions of the people. He felt confident PDP BJP Coalition shall pay a heavy price for its flawed approach towards the issues concerning the State and people.PCC Chief appealed the voters of Anantnag to ensure the victory of Congress Candidate Hilal Ahmad Shah with a thumping majority and defeat the deceitful poll plank of PDP, as defeating PDP amounts to defeating RSS ideology.
