Minister for Rural Development, Law, Justice and Panchayats, Abdul Haq informed the House that Dogripora and Reshipora bridges in Pulwama district are presently under execution in state sector Bridge Programme at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.39 crore and Rs. 10.94 crore against which, Rs. 2.69 crore and Rs. 1.66 crore respectively have been expended on the construction of these bridges upto last financial year.Replying to a question by Mr. Mohammad Khalil Bandh, the Minister said that there is a balance requirement of about Rs. 20.97 crore for completions of these bridges. He said that accordingly the matter was projected for grant of additionality for these bridges during last financial year in order to facilitate their completion which, however, could not materlize.
The Minister said that the District Development Board meeting of Pulwama in its meeting held on June 16 this year, desired that these bridges be kept under CRF. He said as such, the DPRs for both the bridges have been framed and are being processed for posing for CRF funding.The Minister said that the bridge at Zahid Bagh, Litter is approved under NABARD RIDF-XV at a cost of Rs. 2.83 crore against which Rs. 2.56 crore stand utilized upto last financial year. He said that the sub-structure, approach on Litter side and Steel Grider decking of the bridge has been completed.The Minister said that construction of 1x25 mtr span bridge at Senzen has been taken up under state sector bridge programme at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.44 crore, against which an expenditure of Rs. 75 lakh stands utilized upto last financial year. He said that the construction work of the bridge has been completed and approach construction is in progress, adding that the construction work of the bridge in all respects would be completed during the current fiscal year.The Minister said that a DPR of Rs. 3.60 crore for construction of Hassanwani bridge in Pulwama has been formulated adding that the bridge is not approved under any scheme at present.
