Congress today accused PDP for playing emotional card in order to ensure the victory of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Anantnag By Elections, as the PDP has lost the ground miserably and is making serous efforts to influence the voters to secure votes. Addressing the gathering at Fatehpura Anantnag today JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has said that Mehbooba Mufti is playing emotional card inorder to secure votes from the people of Anantnag, as she is aware about the ground situation and feels uncomfortable and apprehensive about the outcome of elections results.He said it has become a routine on the part of PDP and BJP to play emotional cards especially in the Election periods; but the people of thave realized that PDP and its ally BJP are in habit of indulging in politics of opportunism, he felt confident that people of the State will give a befitting reply to both Parties.Stating that Congress Party is committed to equitable development of all the three regions of the State, PCC Chief said that Congress shall continue to remain committed to strengthening the people and overall development of the State.He said that supporting Congress Party amounts to strengthening people and he urged upon the people to ensure the victory of Congress Candidate Hilal Ahmad Shah with a thumping majority, as this Party (Congress) alone have serve the them (people) to the best of its ability.
