Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) representatives on Friday said that ‘we cannot vote and strengthen those people who want to snatch our identity from us and want to turn majority into minority here and who are hell bent upon killing our young ones and are deployed to fulfil conspiratorial agenda of RSS on Kashmir. In a statement issued to KNS, JKLF spokesman said that Islamabad by-polls on 22nd June 2016 are again an anti-Kashmiri practice meant to harm our national interests and hence “we all should boycott this process.”JKLF spokesman said that some of the places where JKLF representatives went and asked people to stay away from polling included Masjid I bait Ul Mukaram at new KMD Adda, Masjid Shahreef old KMD Adda, Masjid Shahreef Rehat Dedi, and central Jamia Masjid Islamabad. While appealing people of Islamabad to stay away from casting votes on 22nd June 2016, JKLF representatives said that history stands as a witness to the fact that though these so-called elections are fought in the name of so called progress and development but people who take part in these elections remain only deployed for safeguarding the interests of India, strengthening its illegal occupation on Jammu Kashmir and to provide a license to Indian army and forces for killing and torturing Kashmiris. They said that all black laws are a product of this assembly and this is the house that provides a shelter to killer forces and hide their crimes behind so-called democracy.JKLF representatives said that it is actually against human dignity to vote for such assembly.

“How can anyone of us vote to strengthen those who are hell bent upon constructing Israeli type settlements for Pandits, Sainik colonies and implementing new industrial policy according to which land of Kashmir will be sold out to outsiders on nominal prices and through these measures want to change our demography and turn Muslim majority into a minority,” JKLF representatives asked. They asked people of Islamabad to remain vigilant and understand the conspiratorial measures of India and its Kashmiri stooges and stay away from polls on 22nd June 2016 and through their exemplary boycott deliver a message to the world that Kashmiri only want freedom and will accept nothing less than that.On these occasions a written message from JKLF incarcerated chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was also delivered to the people in which incarcerated JKLF chief has asked people to boycott these fraudulent elections. Meanwhile police raids on JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal continue as police along with SOG raided the residence of his in-laws and even searched their neighboring houses thus putting whole locality into a miserable condition during night hours.“This nocturnal raid was conducted by SOG and police and forces harassed the whole locality during sacred month of Ramdhan,” JKLF spokesman said.Police also raided the residence of JKLF district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan and arrested him.JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt while condemning this police highhandedness said that rulers and their police have no respect for dignity of houses and even in the holy month of Ramadhan nocturnal raids and harassments are continuing uninterrupted.“This shows the clear frustration of rulers and police who want to put a blanket ban on every voice of dissent that too in the name of so-called democracy,” asserted Butt.
