Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq today informed the House that road from Maniyal to Dhara in Rajouri district has been sanctioned under PMGSY (Phase-V) for a total length of 10 kms at a cost of Rs. 4.89 crore adding that overall achieved progress of the work is 60% and the remaining work got delayed due to land dispute.Replying to a question by Ch. Qamar Husain, the Minister said that the stretch from Km 1 to 4 of Saaj to Bassan upto Kayian road has been taken up under State sector at a cost of Rs. 2.92 crore and an amount of Rs. 27.45 lakh has been utilized on the work upto ending March 2016. He said the work has been completed upto shingled level and the project is likely to be completed during 2018 subject to availability of adequate funds.

The Minister said that the stretch from Km 5 to 13 of the said road is sanctioned under NABARD RIDF-XVI at a cost of Rs. 6.52 crore against which Rs. 4.05 crore have been incurred on the construction of this road upto the last fiscal. He said 3 kms of road have been shingled whereas 6 kms have been made fair weather and the work is likely to be completed by June 2017.The Minister said that 5 km road length out of 10 km Chingus-Bagla-Nadyala road has been repaired by laying of built up spray grout during last fiscal. He said that the improvement and the upgrdation of this road has also been taken under state sector and Rs 8 lakh were utilized during last fiscal. He said that the construction of cross drainage works are proposed in the CAPEX Budget 2016-17.The Minister said that construction work of Doongi-Challas road has been taken up under state sector and Rs. 28.50 lakh stands utilized on the project upto the end of last fiscal. He said 1 km of the road has been black topped and 3 kms made fair weather. He said that during the current fiscal water bound macadam grade-II has been proposed in Km 2nd of the road.The Minister said that construction work of Mubarakpura-Sohana road has been sanctioned under PMGSY Phase-VIII  and work  has been completed upto 53%.

The Minister further informed that Samsamat-Dodasanwala road approved under PMGSY Phase-III for a length of 8 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.68 crore against which Rs. 91 lakh have been incurred and pre-macadamization works completed is expected to be completed up to the end of July 2016.The Minister informed that Rajouri-Thannamandi-Dhera ki Gali road is being executed by Project SAMPARK. He said 84% of rigid pavement works in Rajouri town area from km 1.735 to km 3.50 have been completed. He said 50% of immediate works between km 25.90 to 55.80 km have also been completed. He said construction/improvement of road from Rajouri-Thannamandi-Surankote to National Highway Double Lane Status is included in BROs Annual Works Programme of currnet fiscal. He said besides, re-surfacing work for the said road from Km 22.060 to 59.915 km has also been planned during current fiscal.
