Dr. Nazir Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), met Governor N. N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan here today.Dr. Nazir Ahmad briefed the Governor about several issues relating to infrastructural development, financial stringencies, re-organisation of available staff strength and filling up vacant posts of scientific staff and academic reform. He informed the Governor about the completion of the buildings of Division of Biotechnology and School of Horticulture Business Management at Shalimar Campus.The Governor and Dr. Ahmad also discussed the University’s forthcoming Convocation and the ongoing collaborations with the national and international institutions in arena of research.
