Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Chaudhary today informed the House that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Regional Water Supply Scheme Parihaspora has been made under NRDWP.Replying to a question by Mr Abid Hussain Ansari, the Minister said that as an advance action, the Department has initiated the process of procurement of pipe material/mechanical items and TRCC jacketing of existing service reservoir and utilized Rs 2.06 crore.Land measuring 32 kanals at Karewa of Devar village is to be acquired for which case has been taken up with the Collector land Acquisition Baramulla and the same is under process.The Minister said that once the process of land acquisition is finalized, construction on the main components of the scheme would be started immediately subject to the availability of funds and key construction material.
