Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday said that so-called assembly and all its members are enemies of Kashmir and deployed to harm national interests of Kashmiris. Therefore it is necessary to boycott elections that are held for these assemblies.In a statement issued to KNS, JKLF Chief said, “Boycotting this anti-Kashmiri plot is like expressing gratitude to the great martyrs who laid down their lives for our better tomorrow. Every Islambadian should keep away from by-elections that are to be held in holy month of Ramadhan.”It is worth to mention that JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi who is in police custody from 25th may 2016 has also been shifted to central jail Srinagar.While congratulating Muslims on Ramadhan I Kareem, in his message from incarceration, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik said that so-called assembly, all its members and so-called rulers are actually deployed to serve cause of India and harm Kashmiri interests.
Therefore every Kashmiri should boycott elections held for these assemblies and assembly members.Appealing people of Islamabad (Anantnag) to keep away from by-polls to be held in holy month of Ramadhan, Malik said that this election process is against the interests of Kashmiri’s.He asked that how can any Kashmiri vote for those who are hell bent upon implementing RSS anti-Muslim, anti-Kashmir agenda here. “How can we vote and strengthen those who by implementing conspiratorial projects want to change our demography and turn majority into minority. How can any Kashmiri vote and strengthen those who hanged Shaheed Baba I Qoum Muhammad Maqbool Butt, Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru and who are assigned the job of defending those forces who have till now killed more than one Lakh Kashmiris, attacked the chastity of our mothers and sisters, killed thousands in custody and have disappeared thousands after taking into custody,” Malik said.Malik said that “we have time and again highlighted the facts that how these elections harm our cause and how these are held to suppress our freedom and hide atrocities that are being inflicted on us by India.”He said that people of Islamabad are wise enough and dignified enough and have in past also showed their love and passion for freedom and freedom seekers and that is why we are hopeful that people of Islamabad will this time also boycott this election drama and convey to the whole world that people of Kashmiri want freedom from Indian occupation and will accept nothing less than that.
Meanwhile a joint consultation meeting of APHC(G), APHC(M) and JKLF was held in which it was decided that till so-called rulers don’t shun their plans to implement anti-Kashmiri anti-Muslims plots like construction of separate colonies for Pandits, separate colonies for Sainiks, new industrial policy and oppression unleashed on Jammu Muslims , joint protest programs will continue . It was decided that a joint appeal be made to all Ulema and Khatib I Masajid to aware masses during their Friday sermons about the conspiratorial plots and also highlight the oppression unleashed against resistance camp especially on JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik. Meeting also decided to hold a joint seminar on these conspiratorial plots on Sunday 12th June 2016 at APHC (G) office Hyderpora. It was also decided that a joint silent protest sit-in will be held on Wednesday 15th June 2016 at 2:00 pm. this silent Dharna will be held at Lal Chowk Srinagar.Meanwhile, JKLF has expressed its heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of father of Chairman national front Nayeem Ahmad Khan and brother of APHC (M) leader professor Abdul Gani Butt. JKLF expresses condolences to both bereaved families and stands by them in this hour of grief. JKLF prays for the heavenly abode of both the departed souls. (KNS)
