Usha Vohra, First Lady, inaugurated the International Spring Art Camp at the Delhi Public School (DPS), Srinagar. Mrs. Vohra went round the Gallery to see all the paintings. She interacted with the participating artists and enquired about the themes which were sought to be projected by them. The First Lady appreciated the creativity of the artists in projecting their impressions through varied forms- abstract, realistic, impressionistic and spiritual.This Art Camp (1st June-10th June) has been organized by the D.P. Dhar Memorial Trust at DPS, Srinagar. 17 artists from N. Ireland, Nepal, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia are participating in this Camp.Mrs Vohra appreciated presentation of Dastangoi, an Urdu oral storytelling art form, which was presented by the school children on the occasion.Mr. Vijay Dhar, Chairman, DPS, Srinagar; Mrs. Kusam Warkoo, Principal, DPS, Srinagar; Mrs. Kiran Vijay Dhar; and Mrs.Shyama Sondhi, Curator were among those present on the occasion.
