A delegation of Cow Missionaries led by Chairman Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Mr. Kimti Bhagat today called on the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal for seeking his personal intervention to solve the mystery about Head Gau Sewa Mission, Krishnanand, who had gone missing since June 3.Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Mr. Bhagat along with the delegation met the Chief Minister at his official residence this evening, urging Mr. Badal to direct the State police administration to intensify the search operation besides looking into all possible angles of this unfortunate incident. On the request of delegation, the Chief Minister immediately called up the IG Jalandhar Range Mr. Loknath Angra and SSP Ropar Mr. Varinder Pal Singh over phone to intensify the investigations for getting any clue about this incident. Mr. Badal assured the delegation that all out efforts would be made to get into the bottom of the case.It may be recalled that the state government had already constituted a three member Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising SSP Nawanshashr, Ropar and Hoshiarpur to thoroughly probe into the matter for ascertaining all probable reasons and circumstances which led to the disappearance of Krishnanand.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included; Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. KJS Cheema, besides other members of the delegation viz. Amit Taneja, Bhupinder Sharma, Alwinder Singh, Davinder Kumar and Ravinder Kumar.
