Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik who is languishing in central jail Srinagar was today presented before TADA court Srinagar where TADA judge heard his case. Mohammad Yasin Malik has been booked under a 29 year old TADA case in which along with him martyr Abdul Gani Lone, martyr doctor Qazi Nisaar, Marhoom Ghulam Muhammad Shah, Veteran resistance leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and many others are also among the accused.Yasin Malik himself presented the whole situation before the court and asked that why wasn’t he informed in police custody about the cancellation of his bail in this case as he was in police custody from 25th may 2016.he asked the court that why did it ordered a murderous attack by police on him, his family and his locality and why did police and SOG raided his residence during night, tortured his old mother, ailing sister and other elders of the locality.
Yasin Malik said that this hooliganism by police was only done to scare him and his family and locality. Court heard the arguments of Yasin sahib and ordered to keep him at central jail Srinagar till 11th June 2016. After court hearing he has been again shifted to central jail Srinagar. On hearing about the presence of JKLF chief at court premises, a lot of people gathered at the court and chanted slogans in favor of Yasin sahib and resistance. People present also raised slogans against police terrorism and hooliganism. Speaking to the people present on the occasion, JKLF chairman said that scaring people who love freedom more than their lives by jails, tortures and other oppressive means is not possible and let so-called rulers do every tyranny and oppression, we will not deviate from our just cause nor budge before this tyrannical acts of the so-called rulers. Yasin Malik said that every Kashmiri wants the return of their Pandit brethren but construction of Israeli type settlements in their name, establishing Sainik colonies, implementation of east India type industrial policy and oppression on Jammu Muslims are such issues on which no Kashmiri can remain silent.
He said that these issues are threatening our very existence and identity and thus we cannot let these RSS conspiratorial plots being implemented by present rulers to succeed. He reiterated that unity among various sections of Kashmiri society especially on these important issues is inevitable and for forging this unity he is ready to remain in jail for many years. Yasin Malik said that intimidations, jails, tortures, restrictions and other oppressive means cannot deter us from perusing the path of truth and freedom and if rulers think that these measures can demoralize us they are living in a fool’s paradise. He again said that freedom was, is and will remain his first love till the achievement of the desired goal. While condemning the continued detention of JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and daily raids on zonal organizer basher Ahmad Kashmiris residence and threatening his family and small children, JKLF incarcerated chairman termed this as state sponsored terrorism.
