Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Chaudhary, Today, replying to a question of Vibodh Gupta, informed that five new potable drinking water schemes are coming up in Rajouri district of Jammu province.The Minister informed that four schemes will be funded by NABARD, while one scheme for Rajouri town will be funded by LIC. He informed that there is requirement of 11.94 MGD water for Rajouri district while as the Department is able to supply only 6.14 MGD.Surinder Chaudhary and Javid Mirchal raised supplementaries to the main question.
