All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) asked both Pakistan and India to allow divided Kashmiri families to cross the Line of Control (LoC) on State Subject.

This was stated by the chairman Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Zaffar Akbar Bhat while addressing a reception organised by the people of Muzaffarabad in his honour here on Sunday. “Islamabad and New Delhi should allow Kashmiris to travel on State Subject via LoC and this paper must be declared a travel document for the divided families,” Bhat added.Zaffar Akbar Bhat said that besides others, the women are the worst victims in Indian administered Kashmir who are still being used as weapon of war by the Indian forces.

“Kashmir dispute is also an issue of humanity that must be addressed to end the sufferings of the people which are living across the Line of Control (LoC).,” Bhatt added.Chairman Sikh Welfare Council Jammu Narinder Singh Khalsa said that India is beating and killing both Muslims and non-Muslims in Kashmir to crush the ongoing rights movement. Khalsa said they will continue to fight for the rights. The APHC delegation offered prayers at the graves of former PaK Presidents Khurshid Hassan Khurshid and Mirwaiz Muhammad Yousaf Shah. The others who spoke on the occasion were Vice Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmad Baht, APHC leaders, Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Mushtaqul Islam and Majeed Malik. (KNS)
