Punjab Revenue & Rehabilitation, Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today deeply mourned the untimely demise of Mr. Harkirat Singh (41), the grandson of former Chief Minister Mr. Beant Singh at village Kotli near Payal, here this afternoon. Mr. Majithia today called on the bereaved family here at their ancestral house and shared his heartfelt sympathies with them.Harkirat was the son of former Minister Mr. Tej Parkash Singh Kotli, younger brother of Khanna MLA Mr. Gurkirat Singh Kotli and cousin brother of MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, and had passed away in an unfortunate incident at Chandigarh on May 30. Mr Harkirat Singh was also the Sarpanch of village Kotli and is survived by his wife.Mr Bikram Singh Majithia was accompanied by Punjab Vidhan Sabha speaker Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal, Irrigation Minister Mr Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr Darshan Singh Shivalik, Advisor to CM Mr Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, ex MLA Mr Ranjit Singh Talwandi, besides several others.Sharing his condolences with the grief-stricken family, Mr Majithia said that it was an irreparable loss for the entire Kotli family and prayed to the Almighty to give enormous strength to bear this huge loss in this hour of crisis and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
