Minister of State for Finance, Planning & Development, Mr. Ajay Nanda, today informed the House that as reported by the District Development Commissioner Ramban, the construction work of filtration plant at Ramban is in progress at an estimated cost of about Rs. 1.56 crore.Replying to a question of Mr. Neelam Kumar Lengeh, the Minister said that the Detailed Project Report for construction of Dak Bunglaw at Ramban is under formulation. He said once the DPR is prepared, funds would be provided to start the work.Intervening during supplementaries raised by Vikar Rasool, Mubarak Gul, Raja Manzoor, Javid Rana and Engineer Abdul Rasheed, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. A. R. Veeri said “We will go through the decisions of DDB meetings and all the decisions taken would be implemented in letter and spirit.”The Minister said that commitments made and decisions taken by former chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed in Board Meetings during his tenure would be implemented in letter and spirit. Mr Veeri said that Government is committed to the State’s overall development in all the areas, adding that requisite funds would be allotted to implement the DDB decisions for taken up and completing the projects in different sectors.
