Rs. 350 cr credit plan formulated for Bandipora

The District Credit Plan (DCP) of Rs. 350 crore has been formulated for the current fiscal in district Bandipora and by linkage of District Development Plan (DDP) with DCP, the total annual plan for the district would be Rs. 448.96 crore.This was stated during a District level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting held here with DDC Bandipora Sajjad Hussain in chair.The meeting was convened to review the achievements made by various departments and banks under District Credit plan during last fiscal.Lead District Manager informed that the banks have extended credit of Rs. 249.14 crore to 12386 beneficiaries under priority and non-priority sector, registering an achievement of 78 percent in financial terms besides 97 percent in physical terms. He said J&K Bank alone disbursed Rs. 196.11 crore in the district.

The DDC on the occasion stressed for early disposal of government sponsored agencies to work with cooperation, coordination and cohesion to achieve targets for development, progress and eradication of unemployment. He also directed for conduct of awareness camps on village level, block level and district level to make proper awareness among people.The meeting was attended by LDO, RBI, DDM (NABARD), District coordinators of all banks, government departments and agencies.
