Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pulwama, Mohammad Khalil Bandh Sunday kick started macadamization work on Padgampora-Niana road at Pulwama.The 11-km road length is being macadamized at a cost of Rs 5 crore benefitting large population of Padgampora and its adjoining areas.Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the present government is committed to provide basic amenities to people at their door steps, besides upgrading necessary infrastructure including roads. He said various initiatives are being taken in this regard for the benefit of the people of the State.
The MLA also directed the concerned to complete the ongoing work on Ranjipora road via Gulzarpora upto Tolina bridge at an earliest so that people living in surrounding habitations are benefited.On the occasion, various deputations called on the MLA and appraised him about their developmental issues and projected various demands. The MLA gave a patient hearing to them and assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into and redressed accordingly.
