Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu Samba Kathua Range, Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, held a crime review meeting of Sub Division City South Jammu, which covers the jurisdiction of Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Gangyal and Satwari.Shazaad Ahmed Salaria SP City South Jammu, Parshotam Sharma Dy. Director Prosecution RPHQ Jammu, Sanchin Gupta, SDPO South, SHOs of Police Stations Gandhi Nagar, Gangyal, Satwari and all Investigating Officers of Sub Division attended the meeting. During the meeting, DIG RPHQ Jammu reviewed the old as well as fresh cases and issued necessary directions to the I.Os for prompt disposal of the under investigation cases, so that timely justice is delivered to the public on ground. The territorial officers were also imparted necessary directions for taking preventive and detective measures in order to minimize the regular thefts in the area. They were directed to ensure patrolling for night domination in the area. The SHOs were also directed to take steps and adopt measures to prevent such type of crime by way of increasing Nakas/Patrolling especially during night.DIG Jammu also directed SP South and SDPO South take requisite steps to create awareness on the menace of drugs.
