In order to finalize cases of land acquisition under private negotiation and compulsory acquisition for various developmental projects, a Private Negotiations Committee (PNC) meeting was today held here at Baramulla.Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal the meeting was convened for fixing the rates of land in various areas of the district required for different projects as per Land Acquisition Act.A total of 14 cases were taken up during the PNC. Among the important cases taken up included Land acquisition case related to the construction of 132 KV Railway Station Transmission line at Delina, construction of Tower foundation of 220 KV at Mirgund Pattan and construction of 220 KV Kishan Ganga Amar Ghar Wagoora Transmission Line. Besides, cases related to the acquisition of land for construction of PMGSY road from Bela Salamabad to Peerniyan Boniyar and approaching Road from Bagh-i-Sundri to Fruit Mandi Sopore were also taken up in which various cases were settled on spot.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan, SE R&B, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Sopore and Tehsildars. Besides, officers of concerned departments and private owners of the land in question were also present.
