BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal on Monday accused the state vigilance bureau of not providing him a copy of a complaint based on which he was sent a questionnaire on his alleged disproportionate assets."Despite my repeated requests, I have not been given a copy of the complaint against me," the former Himachal Pradesh chief minister said in a statement here.
He said complainant Vinay Sharma had since been made the deputy advocate general by the state's Congress government.
Dhumal said the complainant neither gave any proof nor any affidavit along with his plaint."How can such a complaint be entertained," he asked.Dhumal said he sent his property details in writing on May 7 in response to a vigilance bureau letter, but it was again writing to him to seek the same information.He said the complaint was a part of political vendetta against him.
