Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today kick started the macadamization work of road from Radha Swami Ashram to Gurha Brahmna at Ganga Nagar, Bantalab to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 50 lakh.The Minister also started the construction work of link road from Seri Panditan to Lawarna in block Bhalwal. The construction and black-topping of 1.25 km long road will cost Rs. 60 lakh. He said that focused attention is accorded by the government to improve the road network especially in rural and far-off pockets.The Minister said that government is committed to provide durable assets to the people of the state adding that various development projects are in the pipeline. The Minister directed the officers of PWD to complete the works in a fixed time frame and ensure that the quality of work is done.Baldev Raj Sharma (Chairman, Development Committee Upper Gurha Brahmana) besides locals of the area thanked the Minister for fulfilling their long pending demand.
