After the announcement of 100 scholarships on merit cum means basis by Aryans Groups of Colleges, Chandigarh, fresh 100 students from various parts of North East would join Aryans Group, Chandigarh for the academic session 2016-17.The special scholarship scheme was launched recently by Aryans Groups of Colleges, Chandigarh in Guwahati & Imphal wherein Ex Army Chief, Gen JJ Singh was the Chief Guest. More than 700 students have already applied for this scholarship in the first week of its launching.The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st May. The scholarship can be availed in the courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Ed, B.Com, GNM, Polytechnic etc.After South India and Delhi NCR, Chandigarh is the most preferred destination for the North East students. Students in large number are migrating to Chandigarh for their higher and Technical education.JJ Singh after the launch of the Scholarship scheme while interacting with the students said that this is a great and unique initiative to reach those meritorious students of North Eastern States who want to peruse their studies but due to lack of resources couldn’t come forward. This scholarship will be given to meritorious 50 girls and 50 boys in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan
