A public darbar was held at Qaimoh, Kulgam where the District Development Commissioner KulgamAijaz Showkat Bhat heard the grievances of different delegations of the area. The gathering of around 1500 from different villages participated in the camp which was held in the premises of Tehsil Office Qaimoh.Grievances like provision of sports stadium, treasury office, construction of flood protection bund along Vishew river were put before the DDC.Regarding the sports stadium in the area, the DD was informed that the Auqaf Committee is committed to donate the land so that Sports & Youth Services Department can develop the requisite facilities there.Other demands included the construction of internal roads, completion of the sub-district hospital, providing clean and round the clock water supply and uninterrupted power connectivity were also put before the DDC.The DDC assured the delegations that all the issues would be taken care of and immediate and pro-active steps shall be taken to address them.On the occasion, the DDC said that another public camp shall be held soon and the status of the implementation would be reviewed in that camp.Among others, the camp was attended by SSP Kulgam, ADC Kulgam, ACR, ACD, ARTO, Exens of R&B, PDD, PHE, I&FC, other district officers besides Tehsildar and BDO.
