In order to provide better governance and to reach out to the people redress the problems of the people, the Minister of state for Finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Nanda convened a public redressal camp at Sangar Manjwa Ransoo here today.A large number of people and its adjoining areas attended the camp and put forth their demands and problems being faced by them which include electricity, ration supply, water, road connectivity unemployment, Etc While addressing the people, the Minister said the government is to provide improved basic amenities to the people at their doorsteps. He assured improvement in basic facilities like water, electricity, ration supply and roads in a phased manner. He instructed the concerned officers to mitigate the genuine demands and problems of the people on priority basis.
Nanda added government would continue to facilitate social change in the state through viable and efficient welfare schemes. He said the government would create better job opportunities for educated and skilled youth by generating an atmosphere of expanded economic activity.The Minister exhorted upon the people to avail maximum benefit of centrally and state sponsored schemes and the state government security schemes for raising their living.Mr. Nanda said that his priority is to provide basic facilities like water, electricity and road connectivity in the district. He called upon the people to come forward to avail the benefits of various schemes launched by the Government of India.
