Blaming the Govt for undermining the authority of democratic Institution in the State, Congress has accused PDP BJP Coalition for using these Institutions for personal benefit. The Party accused coalition Govt for exploiting people on good governance.The Party (Congress) also said that PDP has lost the people’s mandate and has no answer to their queries because of it utter failure on all fronts. The sellout of conscience by PDP for the sake of coming into power, has exposed it (PDP) before the people, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has said this while addressing a public meeting at Sonsambil village of District Pulwama today. Those who addressed the gathering included MLA Haji Ab. Rashid Dar, Mohd Anwar Bhat Vice Presidents, MLA Usman Majeed, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah, District President G. M. Mir, Fayaz Ahmad Dar Contesting Candidate and others.Squarely blaming PDP for ensuring deferment of by-polls, PCC Chief said that PDP know the ground political situation and see its defeat in these elections and ahead. 

He said PDP also know that it has betrayed the people for the sake of power and is not in a position to face the electorate, he said.The betrayal and poor performance by PDP has made its position worse than ever, fearing a defeat in the election, PDP has taken the plea of law and order situation prevailed in parts of north Kashmir sometime ago to delay the Election on this seat merely for political reasons, thereby depriving the people of their democratic rights, G.A. Mir said. Expressing surprise over the U-Turns by PDP on various occasions, particularly on Govt formation and Anantnag By-Polls, G. A. Mir said, on the one hand PDP feels that it has strong base in South, on the other hand, it (PDP) ensured the deferment of Polls, which is a big question mark on the performance and dubious role of PDP, the fact remains, that PDP cannot face the voters, because of its utter failure on every front.

Accusing PDP BJP Govt for undermining the democratic institutions in the State, PCC Chief said that Congress Party won’t allow anyone to undermine the authority of these institutions for personal benefit, it (Congress) would continue to strive hard for strengthening the democratic Institutions in order to ensure that people from the grass roots levels are strengthened and benefitted from these institutions, he said.PCC Chief said that Congress Party believes in constructive opposition, but at the same he (G.A. Mir) took a dig at the PDP BJP Coalition for exploiting people by playing with their emotions on the agenda of good governance, .Referring to the local issues of common people, PCC Chief said that Ration is a big issue in the state, J&K being the rice eater state, deserves to be provided ration, as per the food habit, the decrease in ration scale has infused a sense of insecurity among the people and he (G. A. Mir) emphasized the need for increase in ration scale, he added. (KNS)
