Expressing full faith in the programmes and policies of Congress Party, more than 50 Prominent Kashmiri Pandits joined the Party (Congress) in presence of JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir in Athwass Samelan held at Jagti Migrant Camps Nagrota in Jammu.Among other who joined the Congress Party included Anjali Koul, Raj K. Tikoo, Rattan Lal Bhat, Deepak Razdan, Raj K Bhat, Sunil Koul, Makhan Lal Raina, Rahul Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat and others.Welcoming them (Kashmiri Pandits) into the Party, PCC Chief G.A. Mir expressed confidence that it is the Congress Party alone, which has always taken care of urges and aspirations of the people in all the three regions and would to remain committed to their (people’s) development equally.On this occasion PCC Chief said that Kashmiri Pandit brethren are an important part of State’s composite culture of harmony, age old tradition of brotherhood and togetherness, their return to Kashmir valley with dignity in an atmosphere of peace is of a paramount importance as the Kashmiri culture will continue to remain incomplete till their return and rehabilitation, he said.
