First their forces fire to kill, and then they regret and announce time bound probe and after some days bury the matter.Every assembly member and so-called ruler is equally responsible for this killing spree that has now taken four of our precious lives in Kupwara and Handwara.The immunity given to police, forces and army has made them savages and today two more Kashmiris has fallen prey to these blood thirsty beasts who only know to kill.Kashmiris are in a state of mourning and we appeal to our oppressed nation to observe a total shutdown on 14th April 2016 and hold protest demonstrations against these innocent killings after Friday prayers on 15th April 2016.Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in a message sent from incarceration to KNS, while strongly condemning the brutal killing of two more people today. It is worth to mention that ailing JKLF chairman is suffering from high fever and has been put behind bars despite illness along with others including Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Shabir Ahmad Dar and Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri.
JKLF leader Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi is under house arrest from last two days while as JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt along with district president Rafiq Ahmad Waar have been arrested today from Kupwara where they had gone to participate in the funeral prayers of a martyr. Zahoor Ahmad Butt and Rafiq Waar visited Handwara earlier and led demonstrations against innocent killings by Indian forces.JKLF chairman in his statement said that within less than 24 hours our four innocents have been gunned down by trigger happy soldiers of India. Our hearts bleed and minds are shattered and we as a nation are in a state of mourning.He said that on one hand we receive dead bodies of our kith and kin and on the other hand pro-india politicians, rulers and assembly members with utmost shame and highhandedness’ come out with statements of condemnations, regrets and probes. So-called rulers are telling us that time bound probe will be held and killers will be penalized but we want to ask these shameless rulers that what they have done of previous probes and investigations? Do they think Kashmiris are such fools that they will accept these hypocritical claims.
Yasin Malik said, that Kashmiris have witnessed these kinds of killings from last three decades? Every time probes are announced and every time killers are given clean chit and those killed are proven guilty.He said that every assembly member and pro-India politician is directly responsible for these killings as it is they who provide legal cover and shield to killers cops and are deployed for safeguarding the interests of these forces. Yasin Malik said that nation of Kashmir has no choice but to resist the Indian colonial mindset and growing Hindu nationalism that has given a free license to its forces to kill and brutalize Kashmiris at will.Jailed Yasin Malik appealed all Kashmiris to remain steadfast in this hour of grief and observe a complete shutdown against today’s killings on Thursday 14th April 2016.
He also appealed the nation of Kashmir to hold protest demonstrations against this killing spree after Friday prayers on 15thApril 2016.While condemning the brutal attack on press and media men at Kupwara and Handwara today, JKLF chairman said that police and forces after killing innocents want to suppress the news about its crimes and has hence started brutalized journalists also.Yasin Malik prayed for the early recovery of those injured in police attacks.Meanwhile JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt along with JKLF district president Rafiq Ahmad Waar have been arrested by police when they were moving towards Dragmullah Kupwara to participate in the funeral prayers of a martyr. Both were in Handwara from yesterday leading the demonstrations against innocent killings by Indian forces. Both of them visited the residences of martyrs and expressed solidarity with their families. (KNS)
