Taking a historic decision by Punjab Govt., implementation of Bhagat Pooran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna has been started in the state which proves that the present Govt. is their only well wisher. This plan will provide benefit to 11 lacs farmer families and during the first phase of this plan 3 lac families will be benefitted and approximate 15 thousand farmer families will be covered under the plan in district SAS Nagar. This was stated by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Industry & Finance and local legislator Sh. N.K.Sharma while he was distributing smart cards relating to Bhagat Pooran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna and announcing the gathering at district level function organised at Grain market Lalru.Addressing the gathering, Sh. N.K.Sharma said that a beneficiary after getting the smart card could avail the treatment facility worth Rs. 50 thousand for his family as well as for himself at any empanelled Govt. or reputed hospital. Beside this a sum of Rs. 5 lacs will also be provided to the nominee/ family member of the cardholder in case of accidental death or complete disability. He said that for providing free treatment facility to farmers market committees of Mandi Board will deposit a premium of Rs. 220/- per year, whereas farmers are not required to pay a single penny. 

He further said that this scheme is already being implemented successfully for the person below poverty line. He said that besides cashless treatment facility for the traders' provision of sum insured Rs. 5 lacs has been kept to against any kind of loss due to sudden mishap like fire etc. He further said that 28 lacs 50 thousand families in the state are getting benefit of Atta Dal Scheme.During this Sh. Sharma said that punjab has always gained overall growth only in the time of SAD+BJP Govt. He said that every year Punjab Govt. pays Rs. 5600 crore against electrical motor of farmers and has become one and only State Govt. who provides free electricity to the farmers. He said that 24 hours power supply is being provided to the Kandi area of Dera Bassi. He further said that present govt. has developed Dera Bassi as Industrial Zone suitable for setting up any kind of new industry. He said that 65 new tubewells are being installed to cater the water supply demand. 

Lashing a whip on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Sh. Sharma said that by giving an affidavit in Supreme Court favouring completion of SYL, Kejriwal has backstabbed the people of Punjab and shown his real face. He said that there is no surplus water in Punjab and SAD has always fought for the rights of Punjab state. During this he distributed smart cards relating to Bhagat Pooran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna.Gathering was also addressed by Deputy Commissioner Sh. d.S.Mangat, Chairperson Punjab State Women Commission Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, Incharge Block Kharar Jathedar Ujjagar Singh Badali, SDM Sh. Shiv Kumar, Member SGPC Sr. Niramal Singh Jaula, Chairman MArket Committee Lalru Sh. Surjit SIngh Tiwana,  Chairman MArket Committee Banur Sh. Sadhu Singh Khalour, Chairman Market Committee Kharar Jathedar Baljit Singh Kumbhra, Distinct Mandi Officer Sh. Jaswinder Singh Dhaliwal. During this a huge gathering along with farmers and other reputed persons were present.
