The Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal and DC Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, today inspected the Girdawari schedule of village Badyal Brahmana of tehsil RS Pura and village Lower Muthi of Tehsil Jammu North.The Girdawari of Rabi Crop 2016 is scheduled to be conducted from 1st April till 20th May, 2016.During the visit, the officers conducted onspot inspection of the Girdawari work which has to be completed as per the calendar issued by DC Jammu.The Divisional Commissioner instructed the officers to check the illegal conversion of agricultural land and also record the crop which actually exists on ground.During the tour, the Div Com interacted with the locals, lumberdars and chowkidaars. SDM North, Avny Lavasa, SDM RS Pura, Vikas Kundal, Tehsildars of RS Pura and Jammu North accompanied the officers.
