Range Police Headquarter Batote under the guidance of DIG KDR Range Nissar Ahmed today organized a quiz competition under the civic action programme at Government Higher Secondary School Ramban. Principal of the school, Parshotam Singh was the chief guest on the occasion while ASP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary presided over the function.Student of Government Girls High School Ramban secured the 1st. position, while students from BVM High School Ramban and HSS Ramban bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively.In his address the Principal exhorted upon the students to actively participate in such competitions to boost their confidence. He further appreciated the initiative taken by the JK Police for providing opportunities to the students of various institutions to display their talent in several fields.Speaking on the occasion, the ASP highlighted the aim of civic action programme and efforts of J&K Police to bridge the gap between police & public.Dy. SP MR Choudhary, faculty members, students and officers of police department witnessed the programme.
