To discuss the arrangements for Navratras a meeting of senior officers was convened by District Development Commissioner Sheetal Nanda here today.The necessary arrangements for security, traffic regulation, power and water supply, controlling the prices of essential commodities and checking quality of food items, sanitation, first aid and deployment of fire tenders were discussed in detail for the festival.The DDC enjoined upon the concerned departments to make adequate arrangements in time. She also stressed to make provisions for additional transportation facility for the convenience of the people during the festival days.She also directed the Health Department to provide well equipped ambulances with team of doctors during the navratras in the premises of Chichi Mata Temple, Purmandal, Utter behni and Narsingh temple.CEO Surinsar Mansar Development Authority and EO’s of Municipal Committee were directed to work in coordination to maintain effective sanitation at these places.Among others SSP Joginder Singh, ADC Pawan Sharma besides officers from various departments also attended the meeting.
