Member of parliament (Rajya sabha) and National Vice President Bharatiya Janata Party Avinash Rai Khanna was elected unopposed as national vice chairman of Indian red cross society in a meeting of managing committee held under the chairmanship of national chairman, Indian red Cross society and union health minister Sh. JP Nadda. Khanna thanked Sh. JP Nadda and members of managing committee for reposing faith in him.
