A seminar on removal of encroachments from Kahcharie and State land besides methodology of Jamma-Bandi, Girdawari, settlement work, Mutation and preparation of Relief cases was today held at Dak Bungalow Baramulla.The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan was the chief guest on the occasion while as Assistant Commissioner Revenue SDM Pattan, SDM Uri, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaris of the district also attended the seminar.During the seminar it was stressed that coordinated and efficient methods should be utilised for the removal of illegal encroachments in the district.The speakers also highlighted the methodology of agriculture census and preparation of relief cases.The officers were directed to ensure speedy preparation of relief cases during the time of any calamity, so that people don’t suffer any delay of relief and are rehabilitated on fast track basis.The ADC impressed upon the revenue officials to ensure timely and effective preparation of Jammabandi and other Revenue records. The Tehsildars were stressed upon to utilise the services of Girdawars and Patwaris for preparation of the Jammabandi and Girdawari.
