Dhindsa Inaugurates State Level Bankers’ Committee Office

Parminder Singh Dhindsa,  Finance Minister Punjab, today inaugurated new office of the Convener, State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), Punjab at Sector 17-B, Chandigarh. On this occasion Sh. Harpal Singh, Field General Manager (PNB, Punjab)  and  Convener (SLBC), while addressing august gathering of various Govt. Functionaries, Bankers and others,  explained that new office  at Chandigarh is being established for ensuring easier  coordination and liaison with State Govt. Authorities to provide better support and handle Govt. Business more effectively. He further  informed that PNB has successfully developed and implemented an in-house Online Property Tax Collection Module at Mohali  and looking into its acceptability by the Public, the same is  being implemented  in other towns/cities of Punjab for speedy and effective collection of Property Tax. Finance Minister Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, while appreciating the role of SLBC in financial administration of Punjab, made special mention of PNB’s contribution and conveyed his best wishes.
