To review the progress under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat convened a meeting here today.The concerned officers apprised the DDC about the activities, programmes and other IEC campaigns initiated by the various departments under SBM with the help of local people and PRIs. DDC exhorted upon the officers for making the people aware about the results of poor sanitary conditions.The DDC asked the officers to introduce innovative techniques for disposing the waste materials from the streets. He directed them to utilize funds judiciously by focusing on improving hygiene.The meeting was attended by ADC Ganderbal, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, SDM Kangan, CPO Ganderbal, and various other officers.
