District Information Centre Ramban Friday organised a symposium on the Topic “National Integration” here at New Convent Institute Ramban to imbibe among the students a spirit of unity in diversity.Principal of the host school Mehboob Hussain presided over the function.Around 10 students participated in the symposium, while Diksha Devi, Sourabvir Singh and Abdul Basit bagged first, second and third positions respectively. All participants were given prizes and participation certificates. Appreciating the efforts of information department, Principal of the host school delivered very impressive lecture on national integration. He asked the students to follow a very popular quotation “united we stand and divided we fall” and apply the same in preserving and conserving national values of the country. To encourage the students, some local people also participated in the symposium.
