Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta kick started blacktopping of 3 KM road at Greater Jammu Colony here today.Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said that quality road connectivity are in the mid of the hour and ample amount of funds are available for strengthening of road network in the state.He said Rs 90 lakh have been earmarked for the upgradation of the same road. He further said that an amount of Rs 43 crore have been earmarked for development and upgradation of roads in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.He urged upon the concerned officers to gear up their men and machinery for carrying out macadamization work in the area as the weather conditions are suitable for the macadamization work.Senior officers of R&B department, a large number people were present on the occasion.
