Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal today issued strict directions to the concerned Officers to speed up the process of preparation of Relief cases regarding the damage due to the recent heavy rains in the district.The DC directed the Officers to formulate teams consisting of the members of the Officers of Revenue and R&B departments for the purpose of conducting joint inspections in this regard. The DC impressed upon the teams to submit the reports prepared thereof within seven days. The DC mentioned that fact that the relief should reach the eligible families at the earliest.Pertinently, due to recent heavy rains, various residential houses were damaged in the district due to landslides.The meeting was attended by Officers of Revenue, R & B and other concerned departments.
